	Welcome to TYLA's home on the web!

Welcome to Tewksbury Youth Lacrosse Assocation. Join us and see why lacrosse is considered the “fastest game on two feet”.

We offer boys and girls travel programs for children in grades 3rd-8th.

The Girls program competes in the Mass Bay Girls Lacrosse League (MBGLL).

The Boys program competes in the new Patriot Youth Lacrosse League (PYLL).

This year we have started an instructional league for boys' 1st and 2nd grades.

PICTURE DAY

Pictures for the children will be taking place on Tuesday, May 22nd. Below you will find a schedule for each of the teams. The pictures will be taking place at Livingston Fields and your coaches will have the flyers that are needed to bring for the pictures.

	2012 Spring Lacrosse Season

Girls Lacrosse Program & the MBGLL League
Open to girls in the 3rd through 8th grades. Our teams play in the Mass Bay Girls Lacrosse League, which is focused on skill development and fostering a passion for the game. The league does not keep scores and standings. Girls will get equal playing time based on participation in practice. The season begins with a few indoor practices in March and we will head outdoors the first week of April if the fields are open. The girls will have play 8 league games. The games are played on Sunday afternoons. All levels will have two practices during the week once we are outside and weather permitting. The season concludes with a girls’ tournament.

Boys Lacrosse Program & the PYLL League
Open to boys in the 1st through 8th grades. Our teams play in the Patriot Youth Lacrosse League, which is focused on skill development and fostering a passion for the game. The league does report scores and keeps standings. Boys will get equal playing time based on participation in practice. The season begins with a few indoor practices in March, and we head outdoors the first week of April if the fields are open. The season begins with the PYLL Ice Breaker mini tournament for parity purposes with 2-3 games followed by 7 games on Sunday afternoons. Once outside all teams will have two practices during the week weather permitting. The season concludes with the PYLL Playoffs in a unique tournament format that crowns a champion in mid to late June before school is out.
